CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

Our Christmas celebration was a joyful and heartwarming event filled with cheer and creativity. The children captivated everyone with a delightful skit that highlighted the spirit of kindness and sharing. Their vibrant dance performance brought energy and excitement to the festivities, while their melodious rendition of Christmas carols created a magical holiday atmosphere.

Field Trip To Sarthana Zoo

Our recent trip to Sarthana Zoo was an exciting journey into the world of wildlife! The learners also enjoyed observing zebras and elephants up close, bringing classroom lessons to life. It was a day of discovery, fun, and valuable learning, leaving everyone with cherished memories and an appreciation for nature!


FIRELESS COOKING

Our “Dad & Me Fireless Cooking Challenge” brought together EYP & PYP learners and their fathers for a heartwarming culinary experience. From no-bake treats to vibrant salads, each duo showcased creativity, teamwork, and lots of laughter. With healthy ingredients and big smiles, the event was a beautiful blend of bonding, learning, and fun — creating lasting memories through food at BMCS!

UTTARAYAN CELEBRATION

BMCS celebrated Uttarayan with vibrant kites, joyful spirits, and sky-high aspirations! As our learners flew kites with enthusiasm, they also explored the cultural significance of this festival. In line with the IB philosophy, we embraced tradition while fostering inquiry, connection, and celebration of diverse perspectives. It was a colorful reminder of how we stay rooted in our heritage while reaching for the skies — together.

WORLD RADIO DAY

On February 13th, in celebration of World Radio Day, students from Grade 1 to Grade 5 visited the MY FM radio station. During their visit, learners explored the equipment used in the studio and gained an understanding of how radio content is created. They learned about sound mixing and the different roles involved in radio production. The students also discovered the important role radio plays in connecting communities and sharing information. It was an exciting and educational experience that gave the children a deeper appreciation for the world of radio.

World Environment Day

Let’s nurture nature before it’s too late! 🌱 This World Environment Day, we at BMCS came together to celebrate our planet and remind ourselves that small steps lead to big change. From planting saplings to learning about sustainable living, our young environmentalists are growing not just trees, but also a deep sense of responsibility towards Mother Earth. Because when we care, we conserve. Let’s pledge to be the change our planet needs — today and every day!

FIELD TRIP TO SURAT FORT

Our kids had an exciting field trip to Surat Fort! They explored the old fort walls, learned fun facts about Surat’s history, and saw how people lived in the past. The guide made everything super interesting and easy to understand. It was a great mix of fun and learning. The kids came back with happy faces, lots of stories to tell, and a better understanding of our city's roots.

VALENTINES DAY CELEBRATION

Valentine’s Day at BMCS was a heartwarming celebration of love, creativity, and gratitude! All our learners participated with excitement, bringing beautiful decorative materials from home to craft special cards for their loved ones. They also made heartfelt cards for BMCS, expressing their love for their school. To deepen their understanding, they were shown why Valentine’s Day is celebrated, learning about the importance of love, kindness, and appreciation. The activity not only sparked their creativity but also nurtured values of compassion and gratitude.

GRADUATION DAY

Our Graduation Day celebration was a truly special and unforgettable event, as we celebrated the achievements of our Senior KG to Grade 1 students! Parents joined us for the festivities, where the Nursery, Junior KG, and Senior KG students took the stage to perform lively dances. Each group impressed everyone with their energetic performances, marking the end of an important chapter in their early education. To cap off the celebration, certificates were awarded to all graduates, recognizing their growth and achievements.

WORLD PULSES DAY

On World Pulses Day, our Early Years Programme (EYP) learners celebrated by enjoying and sharing food made from pulses like lentils, beans, and chickpeas with their friends. They expressed their excitement about the nutritious foods and shared what they knew about the benefits of pulses. Embracing the IB philosophy, the students acted as inquirers and communicators, discussing how pulses help keep us healthy. It was a fun and meaningful day of community, learning, and healthy eating!

International Yoga Day

BMCS celebrated International Yoga Day with peace, purpose, and plenty of positive energy! Our learners, guided by trained instructors, embraced the ancient practice of yoga through simple asanas, mindful breathing, and guided meditation. The session encouraged body awareness, emotional well-being, and inner calm—aligning beautifully with the IB focus on developing balanced individuals. With mats rolled out and spirits high, the atmosphere was filled with harmony and focus. It was a wonderful reminder that yoga is not just an exercise, but a way of life that nurtures both mind and body.

Blue Colour Day

BMCS celebrated Blue Colour Day with great excitement! Dressed in vibrant shades of blue—from sky to navy—the children explored the calming and cool essence of this beautiful colour. The day was filled with engaging activities like storytelling, sorting blue objects, and creative art projects, all designed to enhance colour recognition and spark joyful learning. It was heartwarming to see the smiles, laughter, and curiosity as our young explorers connected with the world of colours in meaningful ways!

Field Trip to Police Station

Our young learners at BMCS embarked on an exciting and educational field trip to the local police station, where they got a first-hand glimpse into the world of law, order, and public safety. With curious minds and eager questions, students interacted with officers, explored patrol vehicles, and learned about the important role the police play in keeping our communities safe. This real-world experience not only supported their Unit of Inquiry but also helped them understand the values of responsibility, courage, and respect. It was a day filled with learning, inspiration, and admiration for our everyday heroes in uniform!

Father's Day Celebration

BMCS echoed with laughter, love, and heartfelt moments as we celebrated Father’s Day with great enthusiasm. Dads were invited to join in for a day filled with fun games, bonding activities, and special performances by their little ones. From crafting heartfelt cards to sharing stories and creating memories together, the event was a beautiful tribute to the guiding hands and supportive hearts of our fathers. It was a joy to witness the strong connections and pride in every smile, reminding us that a father's presence is a powerful gift in a child's life.
